An alluring and fresh cocktail is an ode to the changing of the seasons, the transition from winter to spring. Freeland Spirit's fresh, botanical gin paired with bright pomegranate speaks to the spark of new life spring ushers in on the heels of winter, while FreeWildShe's cardamom bitters add a familiar warmth reminiscent of the not-so-distant cozy winter evenings. Top with bubbles and a splash of lime for a zingy, citrusy kick!
Ingredients
-
2 oz Freeland Forest Gin
-
2 oz pomegranate juice
-
6 dropperfuls of FreeWildShe Cardamom Bitters
-
Soda Water
-
Splash of fresh lime juice
-
(Optional) Splash of Simple Syrup
Directions
Fill a lowball glass with one large ice cube. Pour everything but the soda water over ice, stir for a few seconds, then top with soda water and garnish with the lime. Cheers!
Notes & variations:
❁ A dropperful refers to the amount that fills the tube when the top is squeezed and takes liquid into the tube. Don’t be shy with your bitters!
❁ Swap the soda water for champagne if you’re feeling fancy.
❁ If you like your drinks on the sweeter side, opt for a splash of simple syrup - but just a splash!
