Founded in 2008 by former UN worker Philipp Kauffmann, Original Beans Chocolate is bean to bar chocolate maker based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. This company puts a great deal of attention to the sustainability aspect of chocolate making: each chocolate bar purchased from Original Beans goes to plant a new tree in regions as remote as the amazon and challenging as Eastern Congo.
