Our garfish are caught in the Cantabrian Sea off the north coast of Spain in the Fall and Winter. They’re small fish similar in size to a sardine, with a rich, meaty flavor similar to mackerel. Also known as needlefish for their long, narrow beaks, they’re slim with beautiful stripes down their backs, and make an elegant impression upon opening-- perfect for serving in the tin at a cocktail party. We also like to simply dress them on a plate with lemon, olive oil and fresh herbs.
We pick, pack and ship orders around the clock. Most orders will be processed within 1-2 business days of receipt. Many orders are shipping sooner than that! Please note orders are not processed or shipped on weekends or holidays.
