For our spring 2025 artist collaboration, we are thrilled to bring you a custom, limited edition salt cellar by the incredibly talented Martina Thornhill, a self taught ceramic artist from Portland, Oregon.

Martina’s work centers around slowing down and making every day objects special instead of disposable, a philosophy we at The Meadow fully embrace. When she’s not in the studio, you can find her tending to her garden, cooking up nourishing meals in the kitchen, or hanging out at Partly, her shop filled with books, records, and things for your home.

Each one-of-a-kind salt cellar is crafted and painted completely by hand by Martina, and can be purchased individually or with a jar of our very special Halen Môn Silver Flake Sea Salt and our signature Meadow spoon. These salt cellars are limited edition, small-batch, and originally were only intended to be sold exclusively at our Portland locations - but you loved them so much we decided to make them available online!
