The first and only Satocao Sao Tome bar made in North America! 

Sao Tome and Principe is located on the western equatorial coast of Africa. The former Portuguese colony, the country has a terrible past of slavery. Now one of the most stable democracies in Africa, Sao Tome has some of the most unique soil and climate conditions for cacao, but remains extremely poor.

Satocao was established in 2015 as a certified organic co-op of over 400 farmers from seven communities. LetterPress were able to secure a very small amount of the very best beans they sampled to create a unique blend for this limited edition!

Letterpress is a small batch bean-to-bar chocolate company. They hand-sort, roast, crack, winnow, grind at least 48 hours, age for at least a month, then temper, mold and wrap all of their bars in-house to bring out the purest expression of each bean they source.
