Mark Bitterman roamed the globe hunting special salt for 20 years before he opened the Meadow, a gourmet shop selling more than 100 kinds of salt in Portland’s North Mississippi neighborhood. We sent this to our mom as a combo Mother’s Day/birthday gift. My mom is not really into stuff, so a consumable box was right up her alley. It was so special that it came with a handwritten note. What absolutely order this again!
