These delicately smoked filets of trout are from Denmark, where they are sustainably farmed and certified by the ASC. After the filets are smoked,they are packed boneless and skinless in tins with rapeseed oil. Serve it in the classic Danish smørrebrød style on rye bread with creme fraichewith capers, red onion, cucumbers & lemon. It’s an easy and deliciousaddition to a salad where the flavorful oil it’s packed in makes a greatbase for a dressing. Or whip it up into a trout mousse with aioli and fresh herbs.
