These cocktail bitters have their beginnings in Scotland. The sole purpose of their creation is to add a whole new dimension to you favorite drinks. By bringing an incredible symphony of flavor into the mix, they succeed every single time. Named for their original founder John G. Boker, Boker's Bitters have actually been enhancing cocktails since 1828. They're revered as the finest bitters of the golden age of mixed drinks and they're also known to have been the preferred brand of Professor Jerry Thomas. You'll find them featured throughout his book, "How to Mix Drinks or The Bon Vivant's Companion" which is recognized as the world's first bartender's guide. What you get inside each bottle is a little bit of history, a lot of flavor and a recreation of a true classic.

Flavor: Black lemon powder, clove, cassia, bitter medicinal flavor.

Vintage cocktail necessity

I like Boker’s Bitters in some vintage cocktails like the Brandy Crusta, and in a mocktail that I drink on evenings when I don’t want alcohol. It adds a nice flavor while not completely changing the character of a drink like Angostura does.
