Former wooden boat and furniture makers Dustin Taylor and Adam Dick founded Dick Taylor in Eureka, California, in 2010. This bean to bar chocolate company is operated by a very essential staff, and every step in their crafting process is entirely hand made.

Hello,

I am rating the Dark Chocolate w/ Figs 3 stars. I have 3 other bars that you sent me as well. The fig bar did not have as much flavor as I expected. However, the dark chocolate orange was a 5 star bar which was superior to every other bar and for that matter chocolate that I have ever had. I am a world traveler and found the orange bar had intense flavor and a smooth finish.

I was impressed.

Fantastic Fig

This chocolate is rich, dark, tart and super satisfying for that "hit" of cocao. The fig bits add a chew that helped the chocolate linger on the palate, subtly supplementing the rich chocolate experience rather than dominating or simply serving as a side experience. The packaging of my Meadow shipment made it feel like a special gift had arrived -- I'll definitely be ordering again.
