A rock of salt is a wonder to behold. Cracked and loosened from salt deposit that last saw daylight when the earth was in its perky adolescence, luminous boulders of salt harbor within them the mystery of earth's billion year history. 

From these existential musings things take a practical turn, as the raw boulders of salt are chiseled and sliced into sizes and shapes that come in handy for the kitchen and bath.  And did you just hear that right?  Yes, the bath!  The Meadow is now sneaking a bath salt into our already dazzling array of culinary salts. And why not? Kala namak is an ancient salt used in ayurvedic medicine, and it's high sulfur content softens and silkens skin like no other bath salt.
