Chocolat Bonnat is a traditional chocolate factory founded in 1884 in Voiron, France, by Felix Bonnat. The business has been passed down from generation to generation. Today, maître chocolatier Stephane Bonnat is keeping the Bonnat tradition intact and crafting some of the best chocolate bars in the world.
Characterized by a round smoothness and a flavor rich in nuances, Bonnat chocolate is highly recommended to try as your first high end chocolate bar.

I’ve been exploring 100% chocolates, and this is one of the best ones I’ve tried! Very rich and dark. But not tart.
I can recommend this to beginner "100%" tasters!
If you have been hesitant to try 100% cacao, this bar is a fine choice for a beginner's journey unto the 100% range. The cacao is easy on the mouth, melts nicely if you wish to let it, and still has a good dry finish without being too bitter or tannic. It is typical for the label in it's notes.
