Organic Clementine Marmalade from Sicily

Clementines are a very juicy and sweet variety of seedless mandarin, with a deep orange color and smooth, shiny skin. This vibrant, bittersweet marmalade pairs best with yogurt or fresh sheep's milk ricotta. Dilute it with a few dashes of Marsala (or other sweet dessert wine) to make an aromatic sauce for panna cotta.

About Marchesi di San Giuliano
At San Giuliano, the fruit orchards have been organically managed since the 1980s. The clementines are hand-harvested during the last weeks of November, when the fruit is mature and at the peak of sweetness. The recipe for the marmalade has remained unchanged for generations.

Made entirely by hand in small batches using only the finest of the freshly picked fruit, the clementines are first sliced and marinated in cold water overnight. The next day, the fruit is slowly cooked down and sugar added.  No thickeners or preservatives are ever used.

Complex flavors

This is something a bit different from standard orange marmalade. Let it roll around your tongue and you'll pick up lots of different layers of flavor. I think this would be great on ice cream and French toast as well as the usual fare.
