This bar is made using single origin cocoa beans from Tanzania. Located in the heart of Tanzania, Kokoa Kamili is a central fermentory that buys from over 3,400 smallholder farmers in this region and pay 24% above average prices for their wet cacao beans. This sets the highest price for cacao in all of Tanzania. Moka Origins partners with Kokoa Kamili to bring you this bar which delivers bright flavors and a smooth finish.

Founded by Jeff Steinburg with the intention of building transparent and fair supply chains for cocoa farmers in Uganda, Latitude Trading company is a centrally located fermentorium which collects fresh cocoa beans from over 1002 farming partners. Their attention to quality has allowed them to produce some of the highest quality beans in all of Uganda. 

Like most all chocolate bars we carry, your purchase of this bar has a positive impact on cacao farmers and the planet. As a social enterprise, Moka Origins is out to craft amazing products as well as make a positive impact for small holder farmers. They do this by ethically sourcing coffee and cacao, offering training programs on our Cameroon farm, and planting a tree for every product sold. Lovingly crafted by hand, small-batch chocolate is Moka's passion. They carefully roast, winnow, and refine cacao direct from source.
