Title: Taster - Cork Top Jar

Icarus-like, Takesumi is hatched from bamboo segments that were packed with Japanese deep sea salt and incinerated. The result, not so much a salt as a carbonated topping that, upon contact with mouth, instantly dissolves into the sweetness of fizzled Poprocks. 

Mark Bitterman says, "My first meal with this salt was bourbon-glazed venison on a plate dotted casually around its rim with molten-hot jalapeno pepper and little volcanoes of Takesumi Bamboo salt piled at its side. Never have color, flavor, and texture been so implausibly and perfectly married."

Takesumi Bamboo is an extremely versatile salt. Try it around any barbecued meat, grilled fish, sushi, stir-fried vegetables, raw oysters, tropical fruit, or venison.

    Never liked salt till....

    I was gifted a jar of Takesumi Bamboo Sea Salt. Not usually a salter of food, I thought I would try it. Now I am addicted! It is flavorful without a chemical taste and all food tastes better with it. I just gifted the larger size to myself.

    After shopping around for this salt elsewhere i decided i had to purchase from the meadow because i am always confident in the quality of their salt and that it will be packaged well. (i work in shipping so i know good packaging when i see it)
