I ordered a mystery box to share with my partner on our recent kinda vacation... I love how it was wrapped simply with brown paper and tied with twine...

Umami mushroom flecks for meats and pastas!
New York. Tokyo. Portland. We miss these places terribly. So we're slinging some seriously playful salts in the last days of this seriously hard year. With nine limited-edition salts we don’t merely celebrate our history in the three magical cities where we’ve opened The Meadow, we live it!
Hand-harvested, sun-evaporated fine grained sea salt crystals infused with chanterelle mushrooms. Sprinkle these flecks on burgers, steaks, chops, or use as a finishing touch on cauliflower, potato or cabbage gratins. Go full umami and sprinkle generously over pappardelle with sautéed wild mushrooms (in lots of unsalted butter, of course). Or revisit a classic comfort food, and use this to season your next beef stroganoff. A fantastic sister salt to our Mushroom Flake Salt.
Ingredients: Sea salt, chanterelle mushrooms, portobello mushrooms.
Net weight: 2oz / 56g
Made in Portland, Oregon!
A savory delight for pasta, roasted veggies, etc. Enjoying the aroma is half the treat!
This salt is superb! I’ve used it on omelettes and roasted vegetables like carrots—and a guilty pleasure: on buttered toast all by itself.
We've been longtime customers of The Meadow in NYC and we love their unique product selection from salts to bitters and chocolate. We recently purchased the Forest Mushroom salt and as soon as we opened it we knew it would be a hit. It smells like an enchanted mushroom forest! We also ordered some wonderful chocolate bars and everything arrived on time and was perfectly packaged. Kate was even so kind to include a sample chocolate for us. Very much appreciated! Thank you.
