The beans for this bar were sourced from the Cedeño family farm, located in Santo Domingo, Ecuador which has been recognized as the heart of cocoa production in Ecuador due to its fertile soil and humid tropical climate. The Cedeño family is dedicated to the farm and learning all they can about cocoa production to improve farm management and post-harvest techniques. Their continued hard work has paid off. The result is a beautiful cacao with lightly sweet floral notes upfront, followed by rich deep cocoa flavor, which finishes with notes of almond and walnut.

We are an artisan chocolate maker in Santa Barbara called Twenty-Four Blackbirds. We make dark chocolate out of nothing more than organic cocoa beans and organic cane sugar. Our products include chocolate bars, drinking chocolate and roasted nibs.
