Join us for a hands-on Salt Block Cooking Class at our Manhattan location in the heart of the West Village at 523 Hudson St. Together we will cook and eat a variety of foods from Salt Block Cooking, from Flank Steak to Salt-Melted Chocolate Fondue and Mozzarella with Fruit. You'll also learn proper methods for heating, freezing, cleaning, and storing your block.
Mark Bitterman, James Beard award-winning author and owner of The Meadow, will be your host. This 90 minute class includes food, wine, and an in-depth discussion of everything you ever wanted to know (and everything you never knew you always wanted to know) about cooking with blocks of Himalayan Pink salt.
