Garden Gin & Tonic
Serves 1 (you)
Shake the gin, syrup, and bitters with ice. Strain into a double rocks glass over cracked ice. Top glass with soda water. Carefully flame the grapefruit twist and drop it into the glass. Sprinkle with salt.
Citrus Simple Syrup: Strip the zest from 12 limes or 2 grapefruit. Squeeze the juice into a large glass measuring cup (you should get about 1½ cups juice). Stir in 1¾ cups sugar and the strips of zest; cover and set aside for 24 hours, stirring every now and then. Strain and store in a tightly closed container in the refrigerator for up to 5 weeks.
Ingredients: Flake sea salt, lavender, kaffir lime.
