Air-dried, hand-picked oregano buds harvested from Denizli, Turkey. Sprinkle whole on fresh goat and sheep cheeses, grilled peppers and onions, roasted chicken, or salads of raw vegetables with good olive oil and vinegar. Or crush between your fingers and use as a topping on pizzas, veggie pastas, homemade rolls and grilled flatbreads.

For many years now we've scoured the earth and the sea in search of craft salts that bring flavor and beauty to your food and a deeper connection to food, people, and nature to your table. Along the way, we've met our share of spice growers and merchants. While I've always brought these discoveries into my own home, I've only shared them with you, my dear customers, on rare occasions. Well, it's high time we did!

Bitterman's single origin spices are gathered from around the world, in collaboration with expert spice hunters. We pack spices in small quantities to ensure freshness. We encourage you to use spices daily and replenish with a new box of spices as needed (hopefully, monthly!). Store in a cool, dry place.
