Adding only a touch of organic cane sugar to the cacao, we allow the nuances of these flavors to shine through without distracting with any other ingredients. The cacao itself displays flavor notes of persimmon, fudge, prunes, and molasses. We're honored to be working with such a unique cacao origin, building on the foundation laid by centuries of growth and cultivation.

Good chocolate got a little melty

I ordered 4 bars that finally shipped right before a serious heat wave. They seem to have been packaged with one small cold pack that wasn’t up to the task, as one or two of the bars clearly melted em route. I would have paid for better hot weather packaging had that been offered, but I didn’t see that as an option. The Meadow is a tiny bit slow getting stuff out so also didn’t know it would come during the worst of the heat.

A lot of places experienced unprecedented heat this year and we tried our best to make sure all orders with chocolate got to where they needed to be in a cool manner. We do apologize that your chocolate arrived a little worse for wear but did get your order out as quickly as possible and shipped it out within a total of 3 Business Days from the order date.
Going forward, we so appreciate all the feedback as this was our very first time implementing a Warm Weather kit so we will definitely make some improvements :)
